The compact Go Berkey Kit is designed for camping, backpacking, school, travel, or in times of emergency.  It is lightweight and easily transportable.

It is constructed of highly polished AISI 304 stainless steel and has a storage capacity of about 1 quart (.95 liters).

The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for transport and stands only 10″ in height. It is capable of holding only one Black Berkey Purification Element (in the upper chamber).

The kit includes: upper and lower stainless steel chambers, 1 Black Berkey Purification Element, 1 wingnut, 1 washer, 1 priming button, 1 stainless steel lid,  1 Generic Sport Berkey Bottle (22 oz.),1 Black Berkey Primer, 1 vinyl carrying case.

It’s height when in use is 14″. It’s diameter is 4″. It’s weight is 2.4 lbs when empty.

The Go Kit can serve 1 or 2 people. The maximum Filtration Flow Rate when configured with 1 Black Berkey Purification Element is up to one gallon (3.8 liters) of purified drinking water per hour.

This flow rate is calculated with the upper chamber full to the top. The flow rate decreases as the water level declines.

The Go Berkey Kit is not compatible with Berkey PF-2 Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters.

The Black Berkey  Primer that is included is a hand pump that enables priming/purging without any faucet, hoses or standard plumbing source.
