These Black Berkey Purification Elements are the leader in gravity-fed water purification and are fully backed by independent testing.

The Black Berkey Purification Element has been tested by US state and EPA accredited laboratories to exceed NSF/ANSI Standard 53.

They are for installation in the upper chamber of any Berkey purification system. They can also be used to upgrade any other gravity-fed water filter system.

These elements are sold in a set of two. Each Black Berkey Purification Element is designed to purify approximately 3000 gallons of water before needing replacing. That means the set of two will purify 6000 gallons of water before needing replacement.

These elements are re-cleanable and self-sterilizing during their life time.

These Black Berkey Purification Elements come with a 2 year, pro-rated warranty.
